Small on purpose
BELLA is four and a half metres of mahogany. She is not a water taxi and not a tour boat — she carries three guests and nothing else, which is exactly why she can slip into the narrow canals the larger boats have to pass by.
You sit low, close to the water, with the varnish warm under your hand. It is the Venetian way of moving through the city: quiet, unhurried, and completely yours for the time you are aboard.

It started with the restoration
Before BELLA was an experience, she was a hull in need of work. We did that work ourselves — sanding, fairing, coat after coat of varnish, one winter after another, until the mahogany came back.
It all comes from the same place: a love for the lagoon, for Venice, and for wooden boats. Restoring her taught us the city from the water, and that is the version of Venice we take you through.
She is looked after the same way today. Every season she goes back into our hands before she goes back on the water.
